Properties

Derivative of a constant is 0
$$\frac{d}{dx}k = 0$$ 
A function times constant is the derivative of the function times the constant
$$f(x) = kg(x) => f'(x) = kg'(x)$$ 
Sum or difference of two functions is the sum or difference of their derivatives
$$f(x) = g(x)+j(x) => f'(x) = g'(x) + j'(x)$$
